BFFood launches the training programme “Entrepreneurship in the food sector”.

Business Factory Food (BFFood), the Galician food-sector accelerator promoted by the Xunta de Galicia and driven by the Galician Food Cluster (Clusaga), held this morning the first session of the training programme it offers to the projects in its 4th Edition.

This session, held at the FEUGA Building (Santiago de Compostela), is part of the programme called “Entrepreneurship in the food sector” and coordinated by the University of Santiago de Compostela (USC), the University of A Coruña (UDC) and the University of Vigo (UVigo).

Training programme contents

With a duration of 85 hours divided into 8 modules, the training will address issues related to innovation, strategic planning, internationalisation and digitalisation, with the aim of providing the entrepreneurs participating in BFFood’s 4th Edition with the best tools to accelerate the growth of the participating companies.

As a new feature, it should be noted that the 4th Edition is the first in which this training programme is regulated and official training, at the end of which students will receive a Specialisation Diploma from the three Galician universities.

New call now open

Entrepreneurs with an innovative venture project that responds to the challenges posed by the Galician food sector and that BFFood aims to address can now apply for BFFood’s 5th Edition. The call will remain open on the accelerator’s website until 20 December.

Among other benefits, projects in BFFood’s 5th Edition will be able to access coaching programmes, specialised training, access to scientific-technical infrastructure and advanced services, mentoring from sector leaders, direct funding and access to investment, as well as a networking network within the food innovation ecosystem.
