BFFood highlights the importance of innovation at the Galicia Food Forum 2020

On Thursday, September 24, the Galicia Food Forum and Awards 2020 was held, an event organized by the Galician Food Cluster (Clusaga) and in which various Business Factory Food projects participated. Specifically, it was during the presentation block BFFood demo session.

In it, the CEOs of the five projects selected in the first edition of the accelerator, oSIGris, Essence Food, Monkey Markets, AlphaCloud – TripleAlpha and Muutech, explained their initiative and what their participation in the acceleration program has contributed to the entity. They were joined by the heads of Healthinfoods and TasteLab, two initiatives that are still in BFFood’s acceleration and consolidation programs.

Alfredo Bermúdez, CEO of Healthinfoods, was in charge of starting the demo session. He was followed by Álvaro Dosil, CEO of TripleAlpha – AlphaCloud; Víctor Calvo, CEO of Muutech; José Senande, CEO of oSIGris; Iago Sanmartín, CEO of Monkey Markets; Marcio Barrada, CEO of Essence Food; and, finally, Maruxa Quiroga, CEO of TasteLab – Sensesbit, closed the round of interventions.

This demo session also featured the participation of the accelerator’s head, Javier A. Osuna, who announced that a new call for both the acceleration and consolidation programs will open in October and encouraged all entrepreneurs to keep an eye on BFFood’s social media to learn about the deadlines and requirements to apply for this new call.

In addition, the Galicia Food Forum and Awards 2020 event was attended by the President of the Xunta de Galicia, Alberto Núñez Feijóo, who was in charge of closing it. In his speech, he highlighted the value of the Galician food sector as a key industry for understanding Galicia and the importance of continuing to bet on innovation through the implementation of initiatives such as the Business Factory Food accelerator.
