UnLtd Spain and BFFood: a collaboration to strengthen innovation in the food sector
BFFood has established a collaboration agreement with UnLtd Spain with three clear objectives: to provide international visibility for both accelerators, to exchange best practices and experiences, and to participate in events associated with each program.
UnLtd Spain is an organization that disseminates, promotes, and drives social impact entrepreneurship by providing training, advice, and funding to entrepreneurs with the potential to change the world. It focuses on three key sectors: sustainable cities, health, and agri-food, which coincide with the challenges that BFFood seeks to solve through its selected projects.
UnLtd Spain’s Emprende inHealth Program
UnLtd Spain has opened its fifth Emprende inHealth call, a support program for health entrepreneurs. The six selected entrepreneurs will receive six months of mentoring and personalized advice from health and social impact experts, training, visibility, and networking to help their startup grow in the right direction.
Over the last four years, this UnLtd Spain program has supported 24 social impact health startups with a 100% survival rate. In all of them, challenges and priorities were analyzed to define and provide the support they needed.
Emprende inHealth arose from the alliance between Lilly (a global healthcare leader) and UnLtd Spain to generate social impact and contribute to economic development. For this reason, this program is aligned with Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) number 3, which contributes to improving the health and well-being of the population, SDG 8 for decent work and economic growth, and SDG 17, which seeks to create partnerships to achieve goals.
Through this MoU (Memorandum of Understanding), BFFood continues to develop new agreements that allow for greater visibility and reach for the accelerator at both national and international levels.
