BFFood signs an agreement with BStartup to facilitate access to financing for startups

Business Factory Food (BFFood), the accelerator promoted by the Xunta de Galicia and managed by the Galician Food Cluster and leading companies in the food industry, has signed a collaboration agreement with Banco Sabadell’s BStartup program with the aim of facilitating access to financing for startups for their projects and business activities.

The agreement was signed by Pablo Junceda, Northwest Regional Director, and Roberto Alonso, Secretary of the BFFood Executive Board and Manager of the Galician Food Cluster, on Monday, March 22, in a face-to-face meeting, complying with health measures and protocols.

This collaboration agreement represents a boost for entrepreneurship and innovation in the Galician food sector, through which the accelerator seeks to help projects in their market access and consolidation.

The agreement will offer projects participating in BFFood access to the following lines of action of Banco Sabadell’s BStartup program: specialized banking services for startups and technology companies, equity investment, and collaborative innovation.

Furthermore, Banco Sabadell specialists will provide training sessions to projects participating in BFFood on financing in general and, specifically, on payment management in virtual environments.

The signing of this collaboration agreement opens new growth opportunities for the more than 25 projects selected in the different editions of BFFood, allowing them to strengthen and consolidate their position in the business fabric.
