BFFood Participates in Maker Faire Galicia 2020

The sixth edition of Maker Faire Galicia will take place from November 18 to 22 online, through a platform that will integrate the Gaiás Museum virtually so that participants can view the project stands and ask questions in real time.

The event will feature talks and roundtables on the industry and education sectors, as well as workshops, interactive sessions, and the Game Maker Jam video game hackathon.

The head of BFFood, Javier A. Osuna, will participate on Wednesday, November 18 at 10:45 AM in the talk “Accelerating the Maker Ecosystem” alongside Jorge Gómara, head of Business Factory Auto (BFA), Rodolfo Ojea, head of Business Factory Aero (BFAero), and Fany Suárez, head of programs in the competitiveness area of the Galician Institute for Economic Promotion (Igape).

In this roundtable, they will analyze, among other things, the opportunities that accelerators offer to makers and the potential they can bring to the Galician business ecosystem.

In previous editions, Maker Faire Galicia brought together 50,000 people in Santiago de Compostela, making it the largest gathering of creation, innovation, and ingenuity on the peninsula.
