Registration is now open for BFFood’s first consolidation call
From February 3 to June 8 at 2:00 PM, the application submission period for Business Factory Food (BFFood)’s first consolidation call will remain open via the website.
This BFFood consolidation programme is aimed at already established companies, less than six years old, with a defined product or service and initial sales already made, and aligned with one of the challenges the food sector is seeking to address, as explained in the call guidelines.
In addition, due to the health alert caused by COVID-19, a special challenge has been added to this consolidation call, aimed at any initiative that can be applied to the food industry and its value chain and that represents an innovation, in a broad sense, designed to strengthen the sector’s resilience in Galicia in the face of emergency situations arising from pandemics such as the coronavirus.
Up to six projects may be selected in this consolidation call, in which they will receive training, coaching, technical services, infrastructure and resources specifically designed for their area of development, as well as funding through a participating loan from Xesgalicia, which could include a capitalisation option of up to a maximum of €250,000.
This new programme has the support of major anchor companies in the sector, such as Bodegas Martín Códax, Cafés Candelas, Calvo, CAPSA FOOD, Clavo Food Factory, CLUN Cooperativas Lácteas Unidas, Congalsa, Galacteum, Gadis, Kiwi Atlántico, Quescrem, Nueva Pescanova, Torre de Núñez and Viña Costeira, which will be responsible for the mentoring process for the projects selected.
