BFFood 7th Edition Demo Day
Description of the event
The Business Factory Food Demo Day returns on September 23 to showcase projects from the 7th edition. Held at the Forum B do Hotel Palacio del Carmen, Autograph Collection (Rúa das Oblatas, S/N, 15703 Santiago de Compostela), the event will bring together startups, mentors from established companies, and investors to foster growth and transformation within the sector.
The day will be structured around thematic blocks—including innovative project presentations, panel discussions, and networking sessions—creating a dedicated space for knowledge exchange and the creation of new synergies.
During the event, participating startups will present their innovative solutions across two pitch rounds for acceleration-phase projects.
A keynote address will be delivered by Valentín García Alcocer, VP of Innovation Strategy at Eatable Adventures, on the topic “Innovating to Scale: What the Industry Is Learning from Startup Collaboration.” This will be followed by a panel discussion titled “From Pilot to Business: What Does It Take to Scale an Innovation in the Food Industry?” featuring Maruxa Quiroga (CEO of TasteLab/Sensesbit), Julio Martínez Rumbo (Head of Strategic Projects and Corporate Development at CEAMSA), and Antonio Tornero (Investment Manager at Clave Capital).
The event will conclude with the 9th InfoDay, a presentation on the 9th edition of Business Factory Food—with registration currently open via the accelerator’s website—led by Noelia Dosil (Coordinator of the Innovation, Digital Transformation, and Entrepreneurship Area at the Galician Food Cluster). A networking lunch for attendees will follow.
