Changes to BFFood due to the COVID-19 health alert
Due to the health alert caused by COVID-19, the registration period for the 1st BFFood consolidation call is extended without a definitive closing date until the end of the state of alarm decreed by the Government.
As indicated in the Official Gazette of Galicia of March 15, 2020, “the limitation and expiry periods for any actions and rights shall be suspended during the period of validity of the state of alarm and, where appropriate, any extensions that may be adopted.” We will provide information as soon as possible regarding the new closing date for the registration period for the BFFood consolidation program.
Furthermore, as reported on the accelerator’s social media profiles last Thursday, March 12, all face-to-face activities scheduled for the coming weeks have been postponed with the aim of collaborating with the health authorities and acting responsibly to ensure the safety of the entire population.
Specifically, these activities were as follows:
- Presentation of the 1st consolidation call at the CACTUS building of Campus Terra (Lugo)
- Industrial and Intellectual Property Management Workshop in the training room of the Porto do Molle Business Center (Nigrán)
- Presentation of the 1st consolidation call at the Emprendia building of the USC (Santiago de Compostela)
- Presence at the Startup Congress Galicia event in Palexco (A Coruña).
The BFFood management team, the driver companies, and the mentors will continue to work and remain available online for the accelerator participants, while our coworking spaces will remain closed.
We thank you for your trust and collective effort with #IStayAtHome to be able to return to normality as soon as possible. For any questions, you can contact us at the email bff@clusaga.org
