Thanks to the collaboration between the Galician Food Cluster (Clusaga) and ICEX, the vertical accelerator for the Galician food sector promoted by the Xunta de Galicia and coordinated by Clusaga, Business Factory Food (BFFood) has had the opportunity to participate in the Sustainable Food Forum as part of the Rising Up in Spain program, promoted by ICEX–Invest in Spain. During the Forum, held this Tuesday the 19th in London, the accelerator had the opportunity to introduce itself to the British companies and investors in attendance.

The Sustainable Food Forum is part of Sustainable Food Week, organized by Food Matters Live from September 18 to 24. The event hosts a conference program in which global opinion leaders in food innovation are sharing their knowledge in a series of inspiring talks and panel discussions.

In parallel, a presentation of international partners was carried out, including Spain. Its participation was managed by ICEX through the Rising Up in Spain initiative, a program to attract technological and business talent aimed at foreign startups that wish to establish themselves in Spain.

In this context, BFFood had the opportunity to present the main challenges of the Galician food industry, in order to promote the attraction of entrepreneurship projects that wish to settle in Galicia and develop their activity alongside the main Galician food companies through the programs offered by the accelerator: Acceleration and Consolidation.
