BFFood, among the best business accelerators in Europe in 2024

Financial Times and Statista have launched, this March, the report Europe’s Leading Startup Hubs 2024“, a publication that includes a European ranking of 125 business acceleration programs for startups, and which grants Business Factory Food (BFFood) the 57th position.

The position achieved by the vertical accelerator for the Galician food sector, promoted by the Xunta de Galicia and managed by the Galician Food Cluster (Clusaga), is particularly relevant considering that its founding year, 2019, is the most recent of those appearing in this list, shared only by 5 other accelerators registered in it.

The “Europe’s Leading Startup Hubs 2024” is the result of months of research, which included public calls for participation, the launch of surveys and considerable documentary research. All of the above made it possible to identify the 125 best acceleration and incubation programs in Europe, from among several thousand candidates. Thus, this recognition allows highlighting the work of BFFood, granting it the title of one of the leading business creation centers in Europe in 2024.

Taking the above into account, BFFood’s objective is to continue improving the services provided and the impact achieved. To this end, Clusaga, the entity managing the accelerator, leads the consortium of the European project Food-scalEUp, an initiative that seeks to work in collaboration with other European accelerators to increase the quality of services and the number of scaleups.
