Collaboration Agreement between food sector accelerators BFFood and ToasterLAB

BFFood has established a collaboration agreement with ToasterLAB, an agri-food business acceleration program launched by Vitagora, a French food cluster, which helps innovative startups and SMEs to scale up and industrialize their products and services and accelerate their time to market.

This MOU (Memorandum of Understanding) will allow for: giving international visibility to both accelerators, exchanging best practices and experiences between BFFood and ToasterLAB, and participating in events associated with each program.

What does ToasterLAB offer?

ToasterLAB is an agri-food business acceleration program that offers high-value intensive training and development support to reduce the time it takes to turn innovative ideas into real projects.

Specifically, it offers twelve months of personalized support; access to a group of more than 40 experts in all areas (finance, management, law…), who provide the necessary tools to establish themselves in the European food industry markets, and to the network of more than 420 companies that form Vitagora; free office space and accommodation during the intensive acceleration phase (two to three months) in Dijon; and €3,000 in vouchers to cover all specific needs among the experts.

The ToasterLAB program is structured in three stages, which are:

  1. Acceleration Month #1.Welcome to Europe. Startups get to know the specific European business environment for their development.
  2. Acceleration Month #2.Adapt & thrive. Testing, evaluating, and strengthening are the basic components at this stage to ensure the development of the selected initiative.
  3. Post-acceleration Month #3-12.Scale up. This allows for development, industrialization, fundraising, and sales launch in France and Europe.
