BFFOOD unveils all the details of its 7th edition with the InfoDay celebration

Business Factory Food (BFFood), the leading program in Galicia for the incubation, acceleration, and consolidation of innovative projects in the food sector, celebrates the launch of its 7th Edition with an InfoDay to be held on April 8th at the Fontán Building, in the City of Culture of Galicia. This event, conceived as a meeting point for entrepreneurs, startups, leading companies, knowledge agents, and institutions, will offer a comprehensive overview of the new call, its programs, and the resources available to those who wish to be part of this transformative initiative.

The event will begin at 11:00 AM with an address by Roberto Alonso Ferro, Director of Clusaga. Following this, Noelia Dosil, head of BFFood, will present all the details of this new edition, delving into the characteristics of the incubation, acceleration, and consolidation programs, the services and support that selected projects will receive, and the direct involvement of leading companies in the sector at each stage of the process.

A day to inspire and transform

The day will continue with a presentation by Nora Alonso, General Partner at Swanlaab Venture Factory, who will share insights on the major challenges facing the food sector and how technological innovation can offer real and sustainable solutions. Her strategic vision will provide a broad perspective on the opportunities that exist for those committed to entrepreneurship in the agrifoodtech field.

One of the most anticipated moments will be the celebration of two round tables that will allow attendees to gain insight into both the industry’s perspective and the practical experience of startups that have already gone through BFFood. In the first, representatives from leading companies will analyze current sector challenges and the role initiatives like BFFood play in channeling entrepreneurial talent towards solving real problems. In the second, several startups will share their journey through the accelerator, their evolution from idea to market, and the impact that participating in the program had in terms of growth, validation, and connection with the ecosystem.

The event will continue with an institutional closing session featuring Juanjo de la Cerda, General Director of Clusaga, and Covadonga Toca, Director of IGAPE, who will highlight BFFood’s impact on the transformation of the Galician food sector.

The day will conclude with a networking session, where all attendees can exchange impressions, generate synergies, and hold direct meetings with the BFFood team. This closing offers a unique opportunity to establish strategic contacts in an environment defined by its collaborative nature and openness to new ideas.
