  • Following a record-breaking edition with 80 applications, the Galician foodtech accelerator has selected 14 innovative projects for its incubation phase.

The Business Factory Food (BFFood) is adding 14 new projects to its entrepreneurial ecosystem, having concluded the incubation call for its 9th edition with a record 80 applications. Over the next three months, the selected initiatives will participate in a program designed to develop their proposals, validate their market potential, and establish the foundations for their business models.

The projects stand out for their ability to address some of the key challenges in the food sector, with proposals focused on areas such as sustainability, the circular economy, and new product development:

  1.   NADA-UP. Valorization of fruit and vegetable discards into traceable bioactive ingredients using supercritical CO₂.

  •  The Incubation Process

During the incubation process, selected projects will gain access to training provided by the three Galician universities, personalized strategic guidance, and networking opportunities. These resources will enable them to further define their products and services, validate their proposals, and explore new development opportunities.

With this latest selection, BFFood continues to expand its food entrepreneurship and innovation ecosystem, connecting new initiatives with the expertise and key stakeholders in the sector to foster their development from within Galicia.
