Business Factory Food, best Galician accelerator and eighth nationwide

Business Factory Food (BFFood) has been recognized as the best business accelerator in Galicia and the eighth nationwide in the Funcas Global Ranking of business accelerators 2021 – 2022, prepared by the Funcas Savings Bank Foundation and the Rey Juan Carlos University.

Promoted by the Xunta de Galicia and driven by the Food Cluster of Galicia and leading companies in the food industry, BFFood has been selected in this Funcas report for the specific resources and services it offers to startups, allowing them to reach the appropriate maturity in a short period of time and thus achieve their growth and consolidation objectives.

BFFood has been selected from a total of more than one hundred accelerators spread across the different autonomous communities. In the global ranking, it holds the eighth position, while in Galicia it is the top-ranked, followed by ViaGalicia and ABANCA innova.

The accelerator appears for the first time in this ranking, which assesses the scalability and development of its three editions in which more than 25 projects have been promoted, addressing the challenges of the food industry in a global environment.

Bodegas Martín Códax, Cafés Candelas, Calvo, CEAMSA, Clavo Food Factory, Congalsa, Cooperativas Lácteas Unidas (CLUN), Corporación Laber, DS Smith, Gadis, Galacteum, Grupo Pereira, Kiwi Atlántico, CAPSA FOOD (Larsa), LENCE (Grupo Leche Río), Nueva Pescanova, Quescrem, Torre de Núñez, Vegalsa Eroski, and Viña Costeira are the driving companies in charge of the mentoring process for the projects selected in BFFood.
